Grateful for a Cuppa or Two…

March 2, 2012

Oh good choice of topic for this week’s 52 Weeks of Grateful, Maxabella!

I generally have just one cup of coffee a day, usually in or from a cafe.

The cup of coffee pictured was bought very recently after a stressful hectic morning getting all the right kids to the right school at the right time.

I love the cup and love the Instagrammed photo!  The coffee was top too.

And this week my three gratefuls are:

1. A cafe and a coffee to drink in it. I have been doing lots of sitting and nattering in cafes in the past five weeks.  And I want to share with you that I’m getting really good at it!

2. My husband will be home tomorrow after two weeks away.  Need I say more? Yes! He’s bringing a box of chocolates, just a wee one but that wee box will be much appreciated.

3.  Creative moments. What you can do with an iPhone is just amazing, and you can do it one-handed and almost anywhere. And blogging gives the impetus and lots of inspiration, love it.

Here’s a wee example, using Wordpix.

Ah, life’s simple pleasures!

What simple pleasures are you grateful for this week?

Ah, a cup of tea. I don’t drink it often (what’s wrong with me?) but whenever I do, I just relish it.

Cool shots! I have yet to explore all the possibilities that apps can offer. x

I love coffee! I admire you for stopping at one cup. I have at least 2 and they are ginormous cups.

I love the smell of coffee, but am not a coffee drinker. Hubby is, though and he grinds his own beans for his little machine and the aroma is spectacular!

I love coffee at a cafe, too, even if it’s just decaf. it’s the atmosphere that makes it special.
